Dear Editor:
This past year was a rollercoaster of a ride,
Kamala Harris ran for president with Tim Walz at her side,
But thank you, Hashem, for making her lose to Donald Trump,
Or else she would have turned the country into a third-world dump…
President Trump won in a landslide; Harris was doomed from the start,
With her ridiculous rambling and word salads, she really did her part,
She couldn’t manage to string a sentence together—no, she could not,
And with her crazy socialist policies, she totally lost the plot…
From his foreign policy to immigration, President Trump is on the ball,
He’s reinvigorated the economy and has continued construction of the border wall,
We finally have a president who wants to destroy the woke virus, which is very much contagious,
So of course leftists are losing their minds; their reactions are totally outrageous…
The hatred of the Jews is more popular than ever,
People like Candace Owens think they’re really clever,
But with pronouncing basic English words, she’s experienced tremendous complications,
From blitzkri-egg to arquitexture—these are not even exaggerations…
Tucker Carlson really hates the Jews and Israel; it shouldn’t be a shock,
Christian Zionists and their supporters, he must constantly excoriate and mock,
He’s turned into a full-time propagandist for the Islamists in Qatar,
It’s an evolution that defies gravity; it really is bizarre…
We definitely are living in the dumbest timeline of history,
From AOC to Mamdani, they are clueless about everything, especially the economy,
They wouldn’t know the basics of economics if it came down from the sky and hit them on the head,
But at least we made some friends while waiting in line to get some bread…
If we want to save our country, we must embrace free markets and individual liberty,
It’s the difference between living in wealth and prosperity or sinking into poverty,
We must always be vigilant against socialism and communist tyranny,
Because nothing says Purim joy like a centralized hamantaschen bakery!

Dear Editor:
We’ve made it through Chanukah and the secular holidays, so what’s next? Do you have to ask? It’s Yeshiva Week, of course. Now, in my day, it meant hours at the local library and in front of the T.V. If I were lucky, there was a one-day trip into Manhattan, where I think Macy’s was the ultimate destination. Well, that’s old-school. Now, we’re talking exotic destinations.
Out with the Catskills and in with Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, and maybe Israel. I guess maybe Venezuela will be the next “in” place next year. You have to leave Puerto Rico and Croatia for Pesach because, after all, how would it look if you went to the same place twice in two months? It would be like wearing the same outfit twice.
Do our kids understand the meaning of budgeting? If they go to all these places, where will they take their kids? Greenland? I could barely afford the braces my son needed, let alone an exotic trip during Yeshiva Week. How do the young people afford the astronomical tuitions and camp in addition to these trips? I guess that’s where the grandparents come into the picture. That’s where we get the acronym “SKI”—Spend Kids’ Inheritance. Seriously, I hope you all had a great time and be grateful there aren’t two Yeshiva Weeks.

Dear Editor:
Mr. Hecht is so worried about how President Trump is going to celebrate America’s 250th birthday this year. Judging by how Democrats throw a party, we are all relieved Kamala Harris did not win the presidency. Bare-chested, transgender individuals dancing on the lawn of the White House with the pride flag hanging was a disgrace. And you, Mr. Hecht, not only said nothing; you continue to attack Republicans without ANY rebuke for your own party. Judging by how President Trump throws a party, I am sure the celebration will be wonderful.
Trump is playing hardball with the Ayatollah in Iran. After all, he did blow up their nuclear facilities. No other president has done that. He is the consummate negotiator. Should talks fail, I have no doubt that Trump’s red line is a real one, unlike Obama’s, and bombings will resume. He doesn’t hand over pallets of cash to a terrorist regime, like Obama did. Trump placed crippling sanctions on Iran in his first term, which President Biden gladly removed. This allowed the regime to regain economic strength. Trump has put his sanctions back into place. Democrats don’t seem to like this very much. They like Marxist Islamist dictators. Silence from Mr. Hecht on this as well.
What about all the public policy positions domestically? Well, not a single Democrat in the House of Representatives voted in favor of voter ID. That means that the representative for the majority of readership of this publication wants cheating. They want the 14 million illegals who came here under Biden to get amnesty, become citizens, and vote Democrat. It’s the ultimate power grab. Yet they cry Trump’s a dictator! Nothing from Hecht on this either.
Should the taxpayer be obligated to pay for transgender surgeries for members of the military? According to the Democrats, we should. They also believe that teenage boys in junior high school and high school belong in girls’ locker rooms. Parents should have no say in whether a minor removes their reproductive organs. Is this an acceptable position?
Are American citizen white males evil? According to the Democrat Party, we are. After all, they created an entire Marxist hierarchy, DEI. White males were the slave holders, so they should not get jobs, promotions, etc. Those must go only to minorities. If you’re an Orthodox Jew or a devout Christian in America, you are the lowest on the intersectional pyramid. You can and deserve all the hatred and bigotry because you’re a person of faith. The Democrat Party hates people of faith. This too must be an acceptable policy position.
