This past week, Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe celebrated the conclusion of the wonderful V’Taher Libeinu T’filah Program geared toward the sixth through eighth grades. The program aims to enhance the t’filos of the talmidim by having them refrain from any talking during Shacharis, Minchah, and Maariv for a full month. (Sixth graders are only required to complete the Shacharis requirement.)
The boys were treated to hot cocoa twice a week during breakfast for their goodhearted efforts. At the conclusion of the month, an astounding 134 students successfully completed the program, and joyfully celebrated their achievement with an exciting trip to Launch Trampoline Park in Howard Beach. Kudos are extended to Dr. and Mrs. Chaim Wasserman for generously sponsoring the trip, and to Rabbi Becker for coordinating this wonderful and highly successful initiative, which enabled the boys and their t’filos to soar to new heights!
