Throughout the school year, a special connection has been blooming between the Pre-1A children of Bais Yaakov of Queens and Bnos Malka Academy. As dedicated pen pals, the classes regularly corresponded, sharing letters, sending thoughtful Chanukah gifts, exchanging festive Purim mishloach manos, and trading many colorful hand-drawn pictures.
This past week, the written connections came to life as the girls finally met their pen pals in person! The excitement was palpable as the children gathered at the park to greet their new friends. The afternoon was filled with laughter and shared games, capped off by a delicious picnic pizza lunch. A beautiful time of connection, community, and fun was truly had by all!
