MTA PAC once again gave talmidim the opportunity to engage directly with the political process, stepping into a hands-on experience that combined preparation, leadership, and real-world impact.

In advance of the trip, talmidim were trained on current issues and key talking points, ensuring they arrived informed and ready. With that foundation, they traveled to Washington, DC, where they secured and participated in meetings with members of Congress on Capitol Hill.

The program is designed to place responsibility squarely in the hands of the students. Divided into smaller groups, talmidim led the meetings themselves, presenting their perspectives with confidence and clarity while chaperones observed. This year’s discussions focused on the importance of a strong relationship between Israel and the United States and the value of maintaining that critical alliance.

Throughout the experience, talmidim demonstrated poise, preparation, and a strong sense of responsibility. MTA PAC continues to highlight the ability of our students to step forward, represent their values, and engage thoughtfully with the broader world.

A special thank you to Rav Eli Cohn for his tremendous leadership and dedication in making this program possible.
