The 37th Annual Scholarship Dinner of Yeshiva Har Torah was a powerful and inspiring celebration of leadership, dedication, and community. Held on Motza’ei Shabbos at the Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation, the evening brought together parents, alumni, faculty, and supporters in recognition of those who have profoundly shaped the YHT story.
At the heart of the evening were the Guests of Honor, Rachel and Israel Goldman, along with their children, Lisa Goldman and Joshua Reiss. Together, the Goldman and Reiss families were celebrated for their multi-generational commitment to YHT and their enduring impact on the school community. Their shared dedication reflects a deep belief in Jewish education and the values that YHT instills in its students.
The Pillars of Jewish Education Award was presented to Shira and Donny Greenberger, honoring their steadfast support of Torah education and their meaningful partnership with the school. Their leadership and generosity continue to strengthen YHT and inspire those around them.
Stephanie and Tony Aziz were recognized with the Tomchei Torah Award, celebrating their commitment to sustaining and advancing Torah learning.

The evening also honored educational excellence with the presentation of the Faculty Award for Distinguished Educational Leadership to Ms. Yonina Lerner. Her dedication and lasting influence on her students and colleagues exemplify the values and professionalism that define YHT’s faculty.
In addition, the dinner proudly celebrated the Class of 2006 on the 20th anniversary of their graduation.
