MTA hosted its Annual Dinner of Tribute this past week, an evening defined by gratitude and deep connection. Surrounded by parents, alumni, rebbeim, and friends of the yeshivah, the program reflected the strength of the MTA community and its unwavering commitment to Torah, chinuch, and am Yisrael.

This year’s theme, From the Heart of MTA to the Heart of Eretz Yisrael, set the tone for a program that was both uplifting and deeply meaningful. The dinner marked a historic milestone, becoming the most successful fundraising event in MTA’s history. By the close of the evening, the yeshivah raised approximately 20 percent more than last year’s record-breaking total, a powerful testament to the unity, generosity, and shared sense of achrayus that define the MTA family and its connection to Eretz Yisrael.

MTA proudly honored Sara and Dr. Yechiel Engel as Parents of the Year. The Engels embody dedication to the yeshivah and its mission, partnering closely with MTA to support their children’s growth and the broader school community. Their warmth, involvement, and leadership reflect the values that define MTA families.

The Lev L’Am Award was presented to Aviva and Rabbi Zvi Gluck, and to Mira and Yakir Wachstock, whose lives exemplify heartfelt commitment to am Yisrael and tireless service to the community. Through their leadership, generosity, and unwavering values, both families inspire those around them and serve as role models of living with purpose and responsibility.

MTA also recognized Rabbi Eli Cohn (’00) with the Faculty Award. A beloved rebbi, mentor, and role model, Rabbi Cohn’s impact on his talmidim extends far beyond the classroom. Through his dedication, authenticity, and deep care for each student, he has helped shape generations of young men grounded in Torah and integrity. This year’s honor carries added significance, as Rabbi Cohn will be making aliyah with his family, bringing the values and spirit of MTA with him to Eretz Yisrael. His journey reflects the enduring bond between the yeshivah and the Land of Israel, and the profound influence of educators who lead by example.

The Annual Dinner of Tribute was more than a celebration. It was a statement of values, a reaffirmation of purpose, and a reminder that from the heart of MTA flows an enduring commitment to Torah, to community, and to the heart of Eretz Yisrael.
