As a unique siyum for finishing the first perek in sefer Yehoshua, the fourth-grade students of Bnos Malka Academy gathered for a special occasion: the beginning of learning Sifrei Nevi’im.
The students enjoyed a lavish breakfast and were thrilled to hear from Rabbi Elisha Feinberg, who discussed the importance of learning Navi and the timely lessons for our daily lives.
Students received a special bentcher as a gift to commemorate the morning and connected that Yehoshua wrote the paragraph of “Nodeh L’cha” in Birkas HaMazon. They played “Navi Bingo” with Winkies as markers, and they decorated brownies with scenes from Navi, including Moshe Rabbeinu addressing klal Yisrael and B’nei Yisrael crossing the Yarden.
No doubt the students will remember their first foray into learning Navi and will continue to enjoy lessons from all the Sifrei HaKodesh.
