Yeshiva Har Torah launched a brand-new tradition with its first annual Giving Thanks Parade, and the excitement across the building was unforgettable. Students in Pre-K through second grade took on the role of creative engineers as each class designed and built its own incredible float. Featuring bright, eye-catching designs and imaginative themes, every float showcased remarkable teamwork and creativity.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the third graders visited to cheer on the younger students, bringing an extra dose of enthusiasm and schoolwide connection.

The celebration reached a whole new level as YHT administrators joined the parade route, dressed up as the “Strive for 5” characters. Rabbi Menchel, Rabbi Levy, Morah Chaya Wernick (Director of Early Childhood), Mrs. Ayelet Katz (AP Grades 1-2), and Mrs. Eliana Kerbel (AP Grades 3-5) marched alongside the students, making the event a true community-wide highlight.
To make the moment even more special, the entire parade was live-streamed, allowing parents and family members to cheer from home, work, or wherever they were. The smiles were big, the music was loud, and the school spirit was off the charts.

This inaugural parade set the stage for a joyful new YHT tradition – one that is sure to grow even bigger and brighter in the years ahead.
