Last week at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe, the kindergarten boys had an exciting hands-on lesson that brought their learning to life. As the class focused on the letter hei, the children were treated to a special visit from Hatzolah of Queens and Great Neck!

Two dedicated Hatzolah volunteers — Mr. Simcha Simanowitz, father of Noam, and Mr. Naftali Senft, father of Aharon — arrived at YTM with the bright yellow Hatzolah ambulance to give the boys a behind-the-scenes look at the lifesaving work they do for the community.

The volunteers spoke to the children about what it means to be a member of Hatzolah, explaining how they help people in emergencies and how every call reflects the values of kindness, responsibility, and caring for others. The boys got to see real equipment used by Hatzolah responders and learned how volunteers are trained to help those in need.

One of the highlights of the visit was stepping inside the ambulance itself. Wide-eyed with excitement, the children explored the inside of the vehicle and enjoyed a guided tour, gaining a new appreciation for the important work these volunteers do every day.

YTM expressed deep gratitude to the parents who volunteered their time and to all the Hatzolah members who serve our neighborhoods with dedication and heart. Our community is truly fortunate to be filled with such remarkable individuals who inspire even the youngest students.
