On Monday, June 16, Bnos Malka Academy marked a proud milestone as the eighth-grade graduates of the Class of 2025 took the stage to celebrate their accomplishments, growth, and the promise of a bright future. The graduation ceremony, held at the Young Israel of Hillcrest, was a meaningful blend of Torah values, academic achievements, and heartfelt reflection.

The evening began with the recitation of T’hilim, setting a tone of gratitude and inspiration. Rabbi Michael Weichselbaum, menahel of Bnos Malka Academy, warmly welcomed graduates, families, and faculty, emphasizing the importance of carrying forward the lessons of their years at Bnos Malka as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys. In his address, Rabbi Weichselbaum reminded the students that their achievements are not only a testament to their hard work, but also to their dedication to Torah, mitzvos, and community.

Mrs. Shuly Zuckerman, Assistant Principal for Grades 5-8, addressed the graduates with words of encouragement and pride. She spoke about the unique strengths of the class, their unity, and the values they have upheld throughout their years at the academy.

Dr. Rivky Babad, Assistant Principal for Preschool and Grades 1-4, also participated in the presentation of awards and diplomas – a testament to the school’s philosophy of nurturing students from their earliest years through graduation.

Throughout the evening, the graduates were recognized for their academic achievements, midos tovos, and leadership. Valedictorians and award recipients were honored for excellence in both Limudei Kodesh and General Studies, as well as for outstanding character and community service.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas by Rabbi Weichselbaum, Mrs. Zuckerman, and Dr. Babad. It was a proud moment for families and faculty alike, as the graduates stood poised to begin a new and exciting stage of their lives, fortified by the values and education they received at Bnos Malka Academy.
