Adar at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe is always a time of boundless ruach, filled with Rosh Chodesh treats, lively masquerades, and spirited mesibos.

A highlight of the season is the annual Pre-Purim breakfast, held on an Adar Sunday morning before Purim. Kindergarten through third-grade boys, along with their fathers and grandfathers, gathered in the packed Ner Mordechai/Shaare Tova ballroom down the block from the Yeshiva’s campus for a festive morning. A sea of colorful costumes – worn by the boys and even some fathers and grandfathers – added to the lively atmosphere.

The event began with a beautifully catered hot breakfast, followed by a mesmerizing performance by Yang Xiao Di that captivated the boys. Avishai Gavrielov won Best Costume, and Rabbi Ahron Bookson, Assistant Menahel, announced the winners of each grade’s raffle. The excitement continued with the Yeshiva’s Grand Raffle and Mini-Chinese Auction.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Tovah Machlis for chairing the event and to the parents and alumni volunteers for their invaluable help. YTM’s hanhalah looks forward to sharing more Adar simchah with Purim this weekend!
