It was standing room only when Emet Outreach hosted their annual Chanukah celebration. Held at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, the event drew an enthusiastic audience of over 250 Emet students and alumni.

Attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner and were energized by tunes from DJ Amnon. There was also a performance from Magic by Rogue and an exciting raffle with prizes ranging from inspirational s’farim to amazing electronics. The crowd went wild when singing sensation Nissim Black took the stage for a special concert.

“We host many events for our specific programs, but this is the one night when everyone is invited together. We loved seeing our college Fellowship students, young professionals, and young couples in one place,” said Sara Basiratmand-Benyamin, Program Director. “It was especially meaningful, since each of Emet’s rabbis gave a brachah to the crowd, which is one of our traditions. We’re looking forward to next year!”
