The Erna Lindenfeld Hachnosas Kallah Fund of Queens Young Leadership Committee once again brought an outpouring of joy and energy to the community with its second annual Adar Dance Party, held on March 10 in the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills Simchah Hall. Featuring the vibrant sounds of Shimi Adar, the event welcomed girls and women of all ages for an evening that was as uplifting as it was unforgettable.

From the very first notes of music, the room transformed. What began as a simple gathering quickly became a full expression of simchah, as the dance floor filled with participants eager to celebrate the spirit of Adar. Girls danced alongside their mothers, creating a powerful and heartwarming scene of connection across generations. The laughter, singing, and movement carried throughout the hall, turning the evening into something far greater than just a party.

Beyond the excitement and energy, the event carried a deeper purpose. Attendees were given the opportunity to learn about the vital work of hachnasas kallah – supporting brides as they begin their new homes with dignity and stability.

Adding to the experience, participants received special hachnasas kallah swag, giving them a tangible reminder of the evening and its mission. But more importantly, they left with something far more lasting: a strengthened connection to the cause and to one another.

In a time when community connection is more important than ever, Hachnosas Kallah of Queens succeeded in creating an event that blended joy, purpose, and unity seamlessly. The second annual Adar Dance Party was more than a celebration; it was a reflection of the heart of Queens itself, where simchah and chesed go hand in hand.
