This past Shabbos, Bnos leaders from the Kew Gardens and Richmond Hill communities traveled to Montreal to participate in a larger Bnos Leaders Shabbaton, joining peers from other cities for a deeply inspiring and uplifting experience of growth and unity.
The Shabbaton brought together devoted young women who dedicate their Shabbos afternoons to guiding, mentoring, and uplifting younger girls in their communities. Through engaging sessions, thoughtful discussions, and heartfelt divrei Torah, the leaders received meaningful chizuk that strengthened both their personal growth and their commitment to their important roles.
Hosted within Montreal’s warm and welcoming Jewish community, the Shabbos was filled with spirited singing, shared meals, and genuine connections forged across communities. The atmosphere fostered a strong sense of achdus, allowing leaders to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build lasting bonds.
Participants returned home energized and inspired, carrying with them renewed passion, fresh perspectives, and a deeper sense of purpose to enhance their Bnos groups and positively impact the girls they lead.
Those representing the Kew Gardens and Richmond Hill communities included Rena Leah Mayzel, Gail Gottesman, Toby Wurem, Sara Husarsky, Hadassah Gottesman, Nechama Basya Schwartz, Faige Schwartz, Ticha Muscat, and Chaya Goldish.
This meaningful Shabbaton was made possible through the co-sponsorship of Pirchei/Bnos of Kew Gardens and Richmond Hill, whose continued support enables impactful experiences that strengthen leadership and enrich Jewish life for the next generation.
