Moshe Koppel is Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He has published over 100 scientific articles in mathematics, computer science, linguistics, law, economics, political science and other disciplines.

Koppel is founding chairman of the Kohelet Policy Forum, which Haaretz calls “the most successful initiative of the right in the past decade” and which is widely regarded as Israel’s most influential pro-Zionist, pro-free-market think tank.

He is also the founder and director of DICTA: The Israel Center for Text Analysis, a research institute devoted to developing cutting edge tools for the computational analysis of Hebrew and Jewish texts.

Koppel is the author of three books on Jewish thought, most recently Judaism Straight Up: Why Real Religion Endures, published by Koren.

Dr. Koppel is a graduate from Yeshiva University and New York University.
