The students of Ateres Shoshana enjoyed a fun and engaging Rosh Chodesh program in honor of Cheshvan! The students made waffles with ice cream and created palm tree-themed snow globes, tying into our monthly theme of “EYE”land.
The students learned the Ateres Shoshana theme song, which was professionally recorded. To complete the program, they ironed island-themed patches onto their sweatshirts, adding to their growing collection. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Rosh Chodesh, enjoy time together, and strengthen school camaraderie.
Ateres Shoshana’s Mishmeres program breakout featured an inspiring video presentation on the power of speech by Rabbi Dovid Kaplan. Rabbi Kaplan shared many thought-provoking stories on the topic, encouraging them, “If you are thinking something positive, say it!” Each day, dedicating five minutes to learning Shmiras HaLashon together brings them one step closer to filling their gem container, unlocking a brand-new charm to add to their charm bracelets to celebrate their achievements!
