Look out, Wall Street!
Starting late November 2018 through May 17, 2019, five teams of students from Mesivta Yesodei Yeshurun participated in a stock market investment contest. Each team started with a virtual portfolio of $100,000, and through monthly meetings and trading activity sought to increase their portfolio’s value.
The winning team increased their portfolio to $107,071, an annual return of 14.1%, and received a monetary prize from the school.
