The Sisterhood of the Young Israel of North Bellmore is continuing its long tradition of sponsoring their Purim Shaloch Manot Round Robin. They have been doing this for more than 25 years.
For the past two years, the beautifully packaged and decorated baskets were ordered from Yachad Gift Baskets in Brooklyn. The baskets are made by individuals with disabilities. The community is proud to support this talented group.
The Sisterhood also sends a donation to the IDF each year. Sisterhood president Malka Kipnes noted that “In this way, those who participate in our Round Robin support three worthy tzedakahs.”
