Gratitude was the theme of Thanksgiving week at the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls. Morning t’filah was enhanced with the addition of T’filas Hodaah (Prayer of Thanks), as the students reflected on what they had to be grateful for. They also gave notes of thanks to SKA’s staff members who work so hard to make the building clean and safe.

Delicious hot cocoa and other treats were supplied each day by turkey-themed, dressed-up SKA Student Council members. An incredibly inspiring talk on Zoom by Rabbi Lavi Greenspan, who lost his sight ten years ago after surviving a benign brain tumor, made the short week at SKA a very special one.
