In Social Studies, the eighth graders were asked to create an invention and then present it using the digital tool, FlipGrid. In each class, the top two finalists were chosen to show off their invention during an assembly on Wednesday, November 20. Each finalist group created an exceptional invention – unique and innovative.

Mrs. Fredman, Mrs. Morey, and Rabbi Hecht were “the sharks” asked to invest in the projects. After much debate, the final winner came down to a tie: Meira Leban and Debra Burger’s EpiAlert company, and Shira Oppenheim and Abby Keehn’s Shoes with Temp Control company. Congratulations to all the finalists and thank you to Mrs. Seeno.
